I think that they are way too optimistic about not only the possible future of Tomorrowland, but about how people feel about the "Jules Verne" type Tomorrowlands. I really like the way that they acknowledge that, had Disney had just a little more imagination and a few more forward thinkers, they would have kept the 1967 Tomorrowland because by 2015, it would have seemed "cool" again. It was an amazingly well produced microcosm of how post WWII Americans felt about the future. We could really use some of their excitement right now.

Mr. Toad May Be the Odd Amphibian Out at Disneyland - Los Angeles Magazine

Unlike the White House, the House of Mouse doesn’t leak…much, but there has been at least a dusting of intel about Disneyland’s next big project after it wraps up Galaxy’s Edge: modernizing one of the park’s most popular areas, Fantasyland. Expect contemporary characters, rides updated with the latest technology, and easier access for the endless crowds with Hummer-size strollers.

The current regime at Disney seems to have a manic need to remove ANYTHING that is associated mainly with the Walt Disney era of Disneyland. It would be a travesty to remove Mr. Toad. Their greed is disgusting and is ruining a national treasure-apparently they didn't learn anything the last time they attempted to remove Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Vintage Disneyland is Frozen Out by a New Attraction - Los Angeles Magazine

Those snow people from Frozen have taken out one of my favorite little moments at Disneyland: the charming little windmill scene from Walt Disney’s 1937 film The Old Mill. The miniature has been a part of the Storybook Land Canal Boats ride for decades. It is being replaced this week with a model of the town of Arendelle from Frozen.

Another sad loss in the effort to use every square inch of Disneyland to sell merchandise. Would keeping the little windmill have hurt anything? They already destroyed Carnation Gardens because it didn't generate revenue. But Disney would rather pretend that its history is devoid of anything that is not princess related.
