To me this is just more evidence that Disney has NO appreciation of what Disneyland was vs what it has become. Change is necessary, but they seem to be obsessed with erasing any vestiges of pre-1990s Disneyland. In other words, all they care about is being trendy to produce short term dollars vs. the simpler, warmer, more charming Disneyland of the past.
