LGBT people in Israel are regularly victims of discrimination. “It can be violence, it can be rejection of services, it can be slurs on the street,” Canning added.

While Israel is certainly the most tolerant country toward LGBT people in the Mid-East, the Israeli society still has a long road ahead.
