UNBELIEVABLE. But, having worked for years at the Jewish Federation-I am not even slightly surprised. Liberal Jewish “rabbis” (conservative and reform “rabbis” do not receive traditional ordination) have been misleading their congregations for generations. The people in them are taught that American liberalism, and Judaism, often diametrically opposed, are identical. So in their minds Judaism is whatever the Democratic Party happens to believe in any given moment (we all know that they have no overarching principles). So I don’t blame the people who did this-I blame the “leaders” on the Jewish left who care far more about their liberalism than anything remotely resembling authentic Judaism.
