There is no history of widespread racism against Asians in the United States. There have been individual racists. The Japanese were specifically targeted during WWII. As abhorrent as that was, it didn't just happen, it was the result of misplaced rage after Peal Harbor. Germans and Italians were also placed in camps. What made the Japanese internment heinous as that they were American citizens. This proves that for the democrats, identity politics is the ONLY thing they have to run on. Actually, their entire ideology is fear. Identity politics is just one branch of that fear.
