I don't like Steve Bannon. There is no excuse, none, for his embrace of the alt right. The left has cried wolf so often on racism that when a serious bigot shows up, people who support this person can delude tell themselves into believing that this is another case of that. It is not. On the other side, it's like he has to show up wearing a sheet and a pointy hood before Trump's supporters will acknowledge that Bannon is a bigot. Except: he is a bigot.
