The Beatles Red and Blue Albums: The Greatest Hits Album Ever Made

The first Beatles album I bought was a cassette of the Blue album in 1979. It's interesting to look back and realize that I was part of the first Beatles revival which is still the basis for the "modern" context in which The Beatles are viewed. The article is dishonest, as usual for Rolling Stone, about this being Allen Klein's only positive thing that he did for the band. He actually did quite a lot, and the Beatles themselves acknowledged that, including his first act for the band - which was a massive reworking of their royalty deal with EMI. Klein still gets a bad wrap because most of the people who write about him.=, and this era, hate business people, and the business side of the music was, correctly, always his first priority.
