The Left is totalitarian in its sensibilities. It is absurd to assert otherwise. Worse, they are complete hypocrites. The all believe, smugly, that they are open minded, tolerant and intelligent, and that the other side is none of those things. All the while, in practice, these are the most intolerant, bigoted, arrogant people on this planet. Their instincts are always to ruin the lives of those that disagree with them. They no longer see, or acknowledge, that there are good, well meaning people on both sides of almost any social issue. The damage that they are doing to political discourse in this country is incalculable.
