The people who brought DVDs into the world could never even agree on what the letters should stand for.

I never had the animosity for DVDs that I had for CDs. I guess because unlike CDs, DVDs, were an obvious improvement on what they were replacing. I still use them because Netflix still has most of its first run stuff on DVD. I will also continue to buy them until someone figures out a good way of putting extras on digital copies. But there is no question that they are on their way out. Is that early 2000s nostalgia I am feeling (already)?
