Elvis left the building 40 years ago today. I remember that day well. I was on summer vacation and in the car with my dad going to his office. It is a SHAME that people believe that Elvis was a racist or "stole" music from another culture. Rock n roll is an American art form. It's comprised of blues, country, and some other elements. People of ALL races and cultures created the forms of music that became rock n roll.
