The prevalence of anti-Jewish rhetoric and a number of high-profile antisemitic incidents are unlike the antisemitic milieu anywhere else.

When BLM targeted Jewish schools, businesses, and synagogues in LA during their riots, the Jewish left IGNORED it completely. When Trump met with Kanye West, the Jewish right (or too many prominent members of it) made excuses for his behavior. Then we wonder why antisemitism is getting worse. There are no excuses for antisemitism, ever, no reasons why it’s ever ok, and no reason to ever accept it. We either start fighting back, or we continue to increasingly be victims. I thought that we already learnt that lesson from the Shoah. It’s literally incomprehensible to me that we’re seen to have forgotten what it takes not to be victimized. So to my fellow Jews, start fighting back, stop pretending that non-Jews care about us as much as we must care about ourselves (the Trump/BLM/Democrat excuse makers demonstrate that many of us are still willing to put political ideology before the community), and we have to stop deluding outdoors into still believe that America will remain a safe haven for Jews. The truth is that outside of Israel, that has never, and will never exist.
