The Fate of Europe’s Pre-War Synagogues: The Restored Shuls

Drawing some hope and inspiration from the pre-war synagogues which were meticulously restored.

ALL of European Jewish history was almost totally destroyed during the Holocaust. That history was thousands of years old. The Jewish presence in Europe preceded any of the modern nation states. I didn't know that any of the pre-Holocaust synagogues were being restored, but this is very good news, although a tiny, minuscule fraction of what was lost.
