Charles Krauthammer: The Holocaust and American Jews - NY Daily News

Bernie Sanders is the most successful Jewish candidate for the presidency ever.

Krauthammer is absolutely correct. The Jewish community does itself a VERY significant disservice by focusing on the Holocaust as a primary source of Jewish identity. There is so much more to being Jewish. The Holocaust is, obviously, a key event for all of us. But we can't let it define us without losing much of the richness of our heritage.
