Norman Bridwell, Clifford Creator, Dead at 86 - ABC News

Norman Bridwell, creator of the popular "Clifford the Big Red Dog" series of children's books turned into a PBS TV show, has died.

Clifford was always one of my favorite stories and one my children and I often referred to through the years. When we got Mac, our now 19 month old Labradoodles, he was 5 pounds. I kept telling him to grow like Clifford and I knew that with love he could grow. He is now 50 pounds and his aura is very big and keeps growing larger. Clifford will live forever and we have Norman Bridwell to thank for his legacy.
