As spirited as ever, Lynn gives a seemingly effortless performance of "Coal Miner's Daughter."

This makes me happy. I love Loretta Lynn and I hope that she has many many more years to keep doing what nobody else does quite as well anymore.

Third Man Announce White Stripes' Loretta Lynn Covers 7", Van Lear Rose Deluxe Reissue | News | Pitchfork

The latest installment of Third Man's Vault subscription series is centered around country icon Loretta Lynn. They're releasing a deluxe edition vinyl reissue of her 2004 Jack White-produced album Van Lear Rose, a 7" featuring two White Stripes covers of Lynn's songs, and a whole lot more. I definitely want this. I love Loretta Lynn, this album is amazing and the goodies are worth it.
