I had the opportunity to meet Don Rickles several times and I can confirm what everyone else is saying-he was not only one of the funniest comedians that ever lived, he was one of the nicest, sweetest, compassionate people in the world. He will be missed and the world needs his type of honest, human, humor more than ever. Too many people have forgotten that comedy brings people together and honest comedy is rarely politically correct. Funny is funny, and this man was the funnier than anyone in living memory.
