Bob Dylan celebrates 60 years at Columbia with new 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' video

Bob Dylan has celebrated 60 years as a Columbia recording artist with a new 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' video, as Patti Smith and co reinvent a classic.

In 1979 there was a prime-time special about the 25th anniversary of rock n roll. I beta maxed that special and probably watched, all of it, a few hundred times. It was the first time I saw footage of most of the performers and bands I came. One of my favorite clips was the original promo film for "Subterranean Homesick Blues." I think the new version of the this video is great, but resent day Bob Dylan should be in it!
