Why Shaun King is an example of a very public failure to live up to anti-oppression values in the social justice movement.

As someone who has been called a "heeb," a "kike," and a "f'ing Zioinist Jew," along with several other incidents, I always find it bizarre when the purveyors of identity politics claim that I posses "white privilege" and have no idea what bigotry was like. I grew up around Holocaust survivors, some of my family members experienced serious antisemitism here in the United States, and the Nazis put millions of my people into overs just a generation before I was born. Sorry, but unless you are Jewish: you absolutely do NOT get to tell is what we experience as Jews. I find identity politics to be pretty abhorrent. But I am more horrified by the left's enthusiastic embrace of all things anti-Jewish.
