Ann Richards daughter went on to lead one of the worst organizations our country has ever seen. I have seen interviews where Cecil speaks to her work at Planned Parenthood as a continuation of her mother's work for 'women's rights'. With the memory of Wendy Davis still very fresh on our minds, I can't see how Texas will ever elect another Ann Richards type.
Bush, Perry and already Abbott made some missteps but under their leadership we managed to avoid the housing crisis AND have economic stability during the recession. Not to mention, there is only a handful of abortion clinics left open in the state.
