Working at your desk could make your copywriting rubbish | The Drum

I was a copywriter for a long time pre-Moptu, and I say: YES! I can't count how many times I tried to explain to one of my bosses that forcing me to sit in a cubicle, with bad lighting, no privacy, lots of noise, and constant interruptions was NOT the way to get the best work out of me, which is what the were paying me for. But the usual corporate types are not the right audience for logic. So day after day, I sat in a cubicle, that felt more like storage for humans than a creative space because office politics dictate that was where I sat. It is foolish. When Moptu gets funded, and we eventually have our own marketing staff, the copywriter will NOT be forced to sit in a cubicle all day.
