Why is it so difficult to get a new pair of glasses or contacts in this country? It’s easier pretty much everywhere else.

It is especially a scam in California where it is illegal to issue new contacts if the purchaser hasn’t had an exam in the past 12 months. Add that to the fact that one manufacturer owns virtually the entire market and it’s all designed to take money out of hard working people’s pockets to line the pockets of the vision industry and the politicians who get millions in lobbying money from that industry.
