Victims Über Alles - The Left’s Islamophobia obsession shows the extent to which victimology dominates our politics.

This is so true. The left has no real values. They "defend" whomever they see as the victim. The reality, of facts, of any given situation don't matter as much as the psychological boost they get from feeling that they are defending the underdog. It may be noble in principle (sometimes), but is is misguided and potentially dangerous.
