I am excited about the new season. As a startup founder looking for funding, I can tell you that Silicon Valley captures exactly what that world is like. While we're trying to find a serious investor for a social media platform (Moptu) that is a more efficient way to share articles, which gives our users FAR more power over what they see, does for articles what Pinterest and Instagram did for graphics, a platform that actually deals with issues like the infamous "echo chamber," the VCs are giving millions to sites for people who obsessed with things like fishing.
