Why the Black Keys shut out hundreds of fans, causing chaos at the Wiltern

The Black Keys made tickets to their Wiltern show nontransferable to third-party vendors, leaving fans who bought tickets from sites such as StubHub turned away at the doors.

I got to A LOT of concerts in Los Angeles and this doesn't surprise me at all. The larger venues are all nightmares, "third parties" are legalized scalping that only drives costs up, and the Wiltern is an unbelievably poorly run place to see a show. I've had several bad experiences there, and the last one, in August, was a nightmare. The staff is rude, unprofessional and act like you are only allowed to be there as a favor they grant. And the parking is horrendous even by Los Angeles standards.
