It's interesting to look back and realize that I was part of the first Beatles revival which is still the basis for the "modern" context in which The Beatles are viewed. The article is dishonest, as usual for Rolling Stone, about this being Allen Klein's only positive thing that he did for the band. He actually did quite a lot, and the Beatles themselves acknowledged that, including his first act for the band - which was a massive reworking of their royalty deal with EMI. This album is pure rock n roll.

The Rock Hall was going to honor The Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts, but ran out of time?

While we won’t get the official lowdown of what went on at the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony until it’s aired on November 20th, Go-Go’s bassist Kathy Valentine has already revealed a major tribute was left out of the show.

This is just another reason to hate the Hall. But a bunch of egomaniacs and the same tired characters (Dave Grohl doing a tribute. What an amazingly original idea), along with a few trendy non-rock losers to make the Rock Hall of Fame people feel relevant, doing a Stones song may not have been a proper tribute to Charlie anyway. I love the way Kathy Valentine tries to pretend that the Hall of Fame couldn’t POSSIBLY be at fault. This is the same Hall of Fame that includes hip hop, pop, and electronic garbage because none of it was ever about music, it’s about baby boomers egos.
