Im an American but have lived 5 years in South Africa, 2 years in Singapore and 4 in Canada. Seeing your country from outside is powerful. One year I watched the Summer Olympics from New Zealand - I did not know field hockey was an Olympic Sport till then. Im trying to wrap my head around what is happening in America now and praying we come out better.
